NativeBits Privacy Policy
Your masters stay yours.
This Privacy Policy applies to NativeBits DSD Disc Author for macOS (“NativeBits”). NativeBits is designed to author disc projects locally on your Mac.
Files and projects
NativeBits accesses the audio files, metadata, artwork, folders, and project locations that you choose. This information is used on your Mac to create, edit, validate, save, and build your DSD disc projects. NativeBits does not upload your audio files, disc images, or project contents to an Audio Lounge cloud service.
Information stored on your Mac
NativeBits may store preferences, recent project references, validation settings, and related app data locally so the app can provide its features. Project files and built disc images are saved only to locations you choose.
Accounts and personal information
NativeBits does not require a NativeBits or Audio Lounge account. The app does not ask you to provide a name, postal address, phone number, or advertising identifier.
Purchases and updates
If NativeBits is distributed through the Mac App Store, downloads, purchases, licensing, and updates are handled by Apple. Apple may provide developers with aggregated sales information and crash or diagnostic reports according to your Apple privacy and analytics settings. NativeBits does not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, app and macOS version, and problem description. We use it to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue. Please do not attach copyrighted audio masters or disc images unless we specifically ask for a small diagnostic sample and you have the right to share it.
Third-party advertising and analytics
NativeBits does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not use cross-app tracking. If a future version introduces an optional online service, this policy will be updated before that service is used.
Data retention and deletion
You can remove local NativeBits data by deleting projects and exported files from the locations where you saved them, and by deleting the app and its local data from your Mac. Support emails may be retained as reasonably necessary to answer your request, keep support records, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a support conversation.
Children
NativeBits is a professional media tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as NativeBits evolves. Changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
