Privacy Policy
Your music belongs to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to Audio Lounge for macOS and Audio Lounge Air for iPadOS (collectively, “Audio Lounge”). Audio Lounge is built around local playback, and your music library stays under your control.
Your library stays local
Audio Lounge reads the music files, folders, artwork, metadata, external CUE sheets, and optional PDF scores you choose to add or access. These files remain on your device, external storage, or network storage. Audio Lounge does not upload your music library to an Audio Lounge cloud service.
Information stored on your device
Library indexes, preferences, favorites, queues, playback settings, and related app data may be stored locally on your Mac or iPad or iPad so Audio Lounge can provide its features.
Local network access
Audio Lounge may access devices and music sources on your local network when you use features such as SMB Direct or HALO Network Audio. SMB Direct allows Audio Lounge to access music from NAS devices and SMB shares that you choose to connect.
HALO Network Audio can transmit audio from Audio Lounge to a compatible HALO endpoint over your local network. Audio sent through HALO remains within the network path between your devices and is not routed through an Audio Lounge cloud audio service.
Purchases
Downloads and in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Audio Lounge may check App Store entitlements to determine whether full playback has been unlocked or restored. Audio Lounge does not receive your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
App Store analytics and diagnostics
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store analytics, sales information, and crash or diagnostic reports according to your Apple privacy and analytics settings.
Third-party services
Audio Lounge does not require third-party advertising accounts or a third-party cloud library service. If optional online services are introduced in a future version, this policy will be updated as appropriate before those services are used.
Deleting local data
You can remove music sources from Audio Lounge and delete the app’s local data from your device. Your original music and score files are not deleted unless you remove them separately from their original storage location.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Audio Lounge evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
